I'm doing my blog about ghettos. I kind of knew about ghettos but I didn't know very much about them. The term "ghetto" originated from the name the Jewsish quater in Venice. What ghettos were for is to Isolate the Jews by seperating Jewish communities from the non-Jewish population & from other Jewish communities.  During World War II ghettos were city districts.  The Germans forced the Jew's to live under miserable condition. The Jew's had to wear either identifying badges or armbands. Some ghettos existed for only a few days, and others for months or years. There were 3 types of ghettos, colsed ghettos, open ghetto, and destruction ghettos. These are just a couple of things that I didn't know about ghettos. This made me learn more about them than what I already knew before.
